After your initial contact, one of our expert consultants will visit you on-site to discuss your ideas and survey your site. They’ll run though all the information you need to make an informed decision and answer any questions that you have, including concerns about planning and building consent. Your point of contact will also advise you on Changing Places toilet layout and pricing.
Within a few days of your on-site consultation, you’ll receive an initial set of drawings that includes floorplans, elevations and a 3D visual that will help bring your facility to life. Our consultant will go through the plan in detail and make amends where needed. A detailed breakdown of costs will also be included at this stage, giving you everything you need in order to make a final decision.
Once the Changing Places toilet design has been given the green light at your end, it’s time to apply for building consent from your Local Planning Authority (LPA). To obtain permission, we partner up with our industry specialists and manage the process on your behalf, with your LPA. You can expect this part of the process to take between 8-11 weeks.
Once building consent is obtained, we’ll manufacture your Changing Places toilet at our facility in South Yorkshire. This process takes three weeks in total — from erecting the steel frame and cladding your facility, to the second-fix and finishing touches. Our groundworks team will prepare your site, ready for the complete facility to be delivered and lifted directly into position. Utility services will be connected within a couple of days, leaving your new facility ready to use.
To make the planning and build process as easy as possible, you’ll have your own dedicated project manager throughout. A single point of contact will oversee every aspect of your build, minimising stress and disruption to your business. Your project manager will be available to answer any questions you have along the way, as well as provide updates.
